Peggy Dyer brought her full on project, One Million Faces to the birthday bash.
Her goal: to photograph one million faces to benefit an array of charities.

If you are new to the annual show, here is the scoop-It's my biggest headlining show of the year, and we tend to go a bit crazy with it!
Why should you come and how is this different than other shows? This year will be speficifically unlike any other...
- We are holding it at a brand new club, Casselman's (26th and walnut, 5 blocks south of the walnut room/5 blocks north of downtown).
- MY DAD IS MAKING HIS DEBUT SET, OPENING THE NIGHT!
(see next section)
- A seven piece funk band, Bop Skizzum is holding it's vinyl release (collaborations? Horn section?? Umm.. Yes!!!)
- I decided to make this show a benefit for a non-profit I am very passionate about: www.flobots.org. (Bring a bunch of friends, and this will be a very fulfilling benefit!)
-My dear friend Jaden Carlson will be playing (heads up- she is opening the Michael Franti/Spearhead show at The First Bank center this month). Did I mention she is 9 years old?
- My very talented friends of le hoop, Tracy Knowles and Angela Faes, are putting together something awesome... I can't tell you quite yet, but it'll be sweet.
- Casselman's has a tire swing and my mom brings free carrot cake for everyone!! :).
Two VERY important things:
1) Let's PACK the place (Casselman's is huge!)

Who is this bozo to the right? :)
Meet my Dad, Harry Drabkin. He speaks french fluently, he once had an afro, and most nights is asleep by 9pm.
He attended Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA from 1966-1970, became part of the Berklee faculty, and taught from 1970-1972.
Three years ago, I told Dad he had one month to get his chops back, and he joined me on stage for the first time. Since then, he's recorded on two of my CD's, returned to writing his own music, and a few months ago, played his own jazz set with Brian, Eric, and Bijoux.
This year I'm very excited to announce he'll be the first act to open the Birthday Bash!
So, here indeed is a VERY RARE recording that you wont be able to find anywhere else. We just converted a 1968 recording from 'reel-to-reel' tape to digital. Here is a beautiful jazz tune called "Elsa" from my dad's days at Berklee. Hope you enjoy it!

This Friday night, we will combine our forces to new heights, wonders and worlds of rock.
For the first time, I'm bringing the full band up to headline in Fort Collins. CSU students, this will be a Thanksgiving break party and the cover is only $5.
I'll be in town hanging out all week, promoting the show doing fun media stuff, and hopefully riding a bike in the sun :)

Holy tour! The west coast revisited, a month long residency on the east coast, sxsw, studio time, a european tour, and another six weeks on a bus.
